First State Brewing Company Nominated For Best New Brewery In US
Middletown, DE — June 27, 2023 — First State Brewing Company in Middletown, Delaware, has been nominated for Best New Brewery by the USA Today 10Best Readers' Choice Awards. Nominees were selected by a panel of industry experts and editors at USA Today.
Since opening in late 2020, First State Brewing has made a name for itself. They’ve has won several local competitions including Favorite Brewery in 2021 & 2022 First State Favorites by DelawareOnline, and Best Brewpub and Best Restaurant in 2022 Best of Delaware by DelawareToday, so it’s no surprise that they’re on a ballot again.
Earlier this month, Next Glass, parent company to the beer social network known as Untappd, released a report on the Top 25 Fastest Growing Breweries in the US. From 2020 to 2022. First State Brewing saw a whopping 3,191% increase in user check-ins on the app, making them the fastest growing brewery in the country based on check-in growth percentage.

Daily voting for Best New Brewery started on June 26th and ends on July 24th.
