Late at night while the brewers dreamed of brewing clean lagers & classic IPAs, something in the brewery began to stir. From gaskets & tri-clamps to hoses & kegs, a little spark of life filled that which was once inanimate. Introducing the First State Brewing Droid…KV-1N! With his sense of whimsy abound, he knew the first thing he wanted to do was brew his very own beer! For hops, he picked out the experimental HBC 630 & Strata, known for their complex notes of raspberry, cherry, strawberry, peach, & passion fruit. To finish his experimentation, he added a healthy portion of Kiwi & Calamansi to the beer, giving a tart and tropical citrus finish. We sure can’t wait to see where KV-1N's delicious studies lead him next…

This one's for the hype boys and girls who love their "milkshake" IPAs... For this unique brew, we selected the characterful hops of Lotus, Mandarina Bavaria, & Citra…think tropical notes of orange, tangerine, grapefruit, & even vanilla. Further still, we brewed with a moderate dose of lactose & orange zest, and aged on Madagascar vanilla, giving a full-on creamsicle-like experience. While slightly sweet, our version of a Hazy IPA with milk sugar remains balanced, drinkable, & noticeably hop-forward.

For our latest Double Dry Hopped Hazy Double IPA we thought we’d use this as inspiration by flipping the script on our usual go-to hops. Lemondrop, Cashmere, & Motueka hops smash together creating tropical notes of lemon-lime, citrus zest, melon, & stone fruit. All jokes aside, without the dedication of our awesome team…and just a little bit of chaos…we wouldn’t get to create delicious beers for you fine folks as a living.

Beautiful notes of lime, lemon, melon, & white grapefruit present alongside a firm, but not overwhelming, bitterness. A solid base of Pilsen malt brings it all together making this a crushable & easy-drinking crispy boi.
